We provide full ultrasound health insurance coverage for St Paul’s Garda Medical Aid and Prison Officers’ Medical Aid Society (POMAS) as well as third party coverage for VHI and Irish Life Health.

The Ultrasound Suite is an approved provider with full coverage. Please make your booking via email or phone, and we will handle the paperwork on your behalf.

We do not deal directly with the health insurance companies. We require full payment at the time of your scan and you will be issued with a receipt to submit to your insurer.
Your health insurance plan may partially or fully cover the costs of your ultrasound scans.
Many of our patients successfully submit claims for outpatient ultrasounds to their insurance providers. The reimbursement amount depends on your policy’s excess and level of coverage; you may receive a partial or full refund of the costs.
Please check directly with your insurer to confirm if your plan includes ultrasound or outpatient radiology coverage.
You may also be able to claim a portion of the cost on the Med 1 form as part of your annual tax return. Details and forms are available on www.revenue.ie.
