Information on Carotid Artery Ultrasounds
This quick, noninvasive procedure is often recommended if your doctor hears a bruit (an abnormal sound) with a stethoscope. The scan helps confirm or rule out blockages or plaque buildup in the arteries, which could pose a future health risk.
The examination lasts about 30 minutes.
If you have any questions or need further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here to provide you with the best possible care.
